Dieser Kurs richtet sich an alle Englischlernenden, die Vorkenntnisse auf dem fortgeschrittenen Niveau B2 mitbringen und ist somit auch sehr gut für Wiedereinsteiger*innen geeignet. Wir werden viel die freie Konversation in der englischen Sprache trainieren und so Ihre Sprachkompetenz weiter ausbauen und fördern mit verschiedenen Themen und natürlich auch der Klärung und Wiederholung von spezifischen Grammatikfragen.

The main aim of this course is to build your confidence in your spoken English through a fun, interesting and interactive approach. A large part of each session is therefore dedicated to discussion through means of group work, partner work, games etc. We do also address other skills such as Grammar, Listening, Reading and Writing for a more global approach.

This is the perfect course for all those who enjoy speaking English. We will discuss e.g. topics of general interest, current events and literature as well as practising conversational skills in pairs and small groups. Our focus will also be on activating grammar and vocabulary and discovering new ways of expressing ourselves.

Want to learn new vocabulary and correct those pesky grammar mistakes, all while discussing interesting topics? Then Talk of the Town is for you. The current events we deal with range from the more serious to the light-hearted. The material is culled from professional and respected British and American media outlets. The aim of this English Conversation Course is to provide students with the opportunity to practice speaking and understanding conversational English in a small-group setting with classmates who are at approximately the same level of English proficiency (level B2/C1 and higher). A wide variety of texts and materials will be used to focus on stories in the news, current events and issues. The focus of the course is to improve students’ conversation skills and to introduce new vocabulary and phrases in a fun setting. Each week, classes are focused on a different practical topic.
